Description
E700 High-Density EVA Foam is a closed-cell foam (70–75° Shore C) made from Ethylene Vinyl Acetate and blended copolymers. Chemically cross-linked for a uniform cell structure, it’s semi-rigid, shock-absorbing, and buoyant, with strong resistance to water, UV, and cracking.Easy to shape with heat, glue, and paint, with a smooth finish on both sides, it’s a versatile pick for footwear (midsoles, platforms), sports equipment, packaging, flooring, and cosplay props and costumes. Available in a range of thicknesses and densities.
- High Density
E700 High-Density EVA Foam is also available in 2 mm through 40 mm — see the full 60-75° Shore C high density range.
Uses / Suitable For:
- Footwear (e.g., midsole, platforms)
- Sports
- Packing
- Flooring
- Sports Equipment
- Props and Costumes for Cosplay
Orthotic, orthopedic and diabetic use
At 25mm this is elevation stock — a full inch of material, so a raise or a buildup comes out of one piece instead of a stack of laminated sheets. At 70-75° Shore C it holds that height under body weight. Orthopedic footwear makers, prosthetists and shoe repair shops use it for:
- Larger external shoe elevations and sole raises for leg length discrepancy
- Prosthetic foam covers and fill, carved and shaped to the limb
- Heavy sole buildups, rocker units and wedged sole work
Closed-cell, so it does not soak up perspiration, and it grinds and bevels to a clean edge. For insole-gauge orthotic work — posting, shells and top covers — the thinner sheets in our 60-75° Shore C high density range are the ones to start from.
