Mesh Fabrics

Nylon mesh — not a standard soft mesh. Ours is slightly firmer, with enough body to stand up in a structured piece rather than drape, which is why it is used for footwear and handbag work as well as costume.

100% nylon, 54″ wide, 160 g/m² and 0.21mm thick. Stocked in 5-yard cuts in warm colorways, cool colorways and metallic. There is also a nylon mesh with glitter sequins, sold in 36″ x 54″ sheets.

Typical uses: shoe uppers and side panels, bag panels and pockets, tutus and dance costume, and anywhere a sheer layer needs to hold its shape.
