Insole Foams & Boards

Insole foams and boards make up the footbed — the layer between the last and the foot. Avetco stocks both the rigid boards that give an insole its shape and the soft foams that pad it.

Boards: Celtec cellulose board sheets (59″ x 39″), Celfil R nonwoven fiber insole boards, and cellulose insole foam boards. They are also used as inner lining in bags, cases and furniture, not just footwear.

Foams: soft, low-density EVA from 1mm to 12mm. E200 grades (20-30 Shore C) for cushioning and top covers, E400 (40-45 Shore C) where a firmer footbed is wanted. Also a 3mm self-adhesive EVA and a tricot foam-backed fabric with 2mm padding, 56″ wide.

Orthotic labs, footwear manufacturers and repair shops buy these by the sheet for footbeds, top covers, arch fill and posting.
