EVA High Density Closed Cell Foams Hardness 20-35 Shore C

EVA foam in the 20–35 Shore C range is the soft, springy end of our high density line — smooth, closed-cell and forgiving. This is the grade for comfort insoles, padding, cushioning and protective case inserts: soft, springy and forgiving underfoot and underhand, it absorbs impact and shapes to the body, so it’s the one to reach for when comfort and protection come first.

Because it’s the most forgiving grade we carry, it’s also the go-to for costume padding — muscle suits, mascot and character builds, and body padding where softness and comfort matter more than a rigid shell. Need foam that holds a rigid, structured shape? Step up to our medium EVA foam (40–55 Shore C) or firmer high density EVA foam (60–75 Shore C). Not sure which grade suits your build?
