E700 High-Density Eva closed-cell Foam with a hardness of 70-75° Durometer Shore C. Eva Foam is a type of foam made from Ethylene Vinyl Acetate and blended copolymers, which gives it an elastic quality. It is chemically cross-linked, resulting in a uniform cell structure and a semi-rigid product for various applications. Eva Foam is known for its shock-absorbing and buoyancy properties and its resistance to water, UV radiation, and cracking. Eva foam for orthotics and orthopedic footwear
At 6mm this is the middle gauge — enough depth to grind a real correction into, but slim enough to fit a dress shoe or a narrower last where 8mm will not go. Orthotic labs, pedorthists and shoe repair shops reach for this eva foam sheet for:

Like the rest of our eva foam range it is closed-cell, so it does not soak up perspiration or lose thickness to it. It grinds and bevels to a clean edge, heat-forms over a positive cast, and takes contact cement well. Finish it with a softer top cover such as our 2mm 25-30° Shore C EVA — the firm sheet controls, the soft sheet comforts — two grades of eva foam doing two different jobs.
