Celfil R Nonwoven Fiber Insole Boards
Celfil R is a needle-punched nonwoven board made from polyester staple fibre. Needle punching mechanically entangles the fibres rather than bonding them with resin, which keeps the board breathable and lets it take a shape without cracking — the reason it is used as the innersole in sports and leather shoes.
It also serves as an inner lining board in briefcases and suitcases, where a stiff but light panel is needed.
