12 mm E700 EVA Wave Pattern – Hardness 70-75° Shore C
12 mm EVA in our E700 grade, embossed with a wave pattern. The pattern is functional as well as decorative: it breaks up the contact surface, which adds grip and lets the sheet flex along the wave. At 70-75° Shore C this is a firm sheet, suited to shoe outsoles, soling and structural padding rather than soft cushioning.
EVA foam is an elasticized closed-cell foam made from Ethylene Vinyl Acetate and blended copolymers, with a high level of chemical cross-linking. The result is a semi-rigid sheet with a fine, uniform cell structure — shock absorbing, buoyant, waterproof, and resistant to UV and cracking.

Cutting and laser work
This grade contains no PVC and no chlorinated ingredients. Chlorine is what makes a foam hostile to a laser. This sheet cuts cleanly on laser and CNC equipment, and the cut edge stays the same color as the sheet — there is no scorched or discolored line.
At 12 mm this is thick stock. A press or band knife suits production runs; a sharp blade and a straight edge handle one-off cuts. For bonding, scuff the surface first and use a contact cement rated for EVA. Avetco supplies raw material only and does not offer a cutting service.
