Description
This 12 mm O ring (Y7462, 0.47″) is a non-welded metal ring formed from 2.2 mm wire, with the two ends butted together instead of fused. It is light, neat and economical – a useful middle size for wallet straps, small handbag fittings and craft work. Plated in Antique Brass, Gold or Nickel and sold in bags of 100 or 1000 pieces (counted by weight). The 1000 pcs. bag is available in Gold and Nickel.

Welded or Non-Welded?
A non-welded ring has a small split where the wire ends meet. As a result, it is best for light to medium loads, such as decorative straps and small bag hardware. For a strap that carries real weight – for example, a heavy tote strap – choose a welded ring instead, since a strong pull can open a non-welded ring over time. Also, non-welded rings are not recommended for dog collars, leads or harness work.
