🪡 Poliflex M-80 — Soft Non-Woven Fusible Toe Puff & Reinforcing Interlining, 0.8 mm (M80)

Poliflex M-80 is the thicker of the two Poliflex M weights — a soft, reinforcing non-woven interlining made from a polyester base with a heat-activated fusible backing. Designed as a soft toe puff for footwear, it irons on to add gentle, resilient structure to vamps, uppers, and toe areas, with a bit more body than the 0.6 mm M-60 while staying soft and comfortable rather than rigid.

It is built for casual and sport footwear and is widely used in diabetic shoes, where soft, comfortable reinforcement matters. Beyond footwear it works just as well for handbag panels and bases, belt and strap backing, and structured accessories — anywhere a project needs a little extra clean, non-woven reinforcement that stays comfortable and flexible.

Application is easy and low-temperature: position the interlining adhesive-side down and press at 105–120 °C (221–248 °F) for 8–10 seconds at 50–60 psi (4–6 kg/cm²), and it bonds in seconds — no sewing or basting required. M-80 is the 0.8 mm weight; for a lighter, more flexible build, the same material is available as M-60 (0.6 mm).
