Description
Taupe lambskin leather in a soft nappa finish – a grey-brown neutral that sits between stone and mushroom, drum dyed through so cut edges show the same colour as the face. This is our economy grade: the leather is good, but expect more natural markings, healed scratches and shade variation from hide to hide than in our regular lines, and the price reflects that. Hides run 3-12 square feet at 2 oz. (0.7-0.9 mm).
Why Choose Taupe Lambskin Leather
- Soft nappa hand with the fine grain and drape lambskin is bought for
- Drum dyed through, so trimmed edges and skived areas stay the same shade
- Light 2 oz. substance that skives thin and sews on a domestic machine
- A quiet neutral that works as a lining under almost any shell colour
- Five size bands from 3-4 up to 11-12 sq. ft., so you buy close to what you need

Ordering
Taupe lambskin leather is sold by the hide, with the price set by the size band you choose. Because this is an economy grade, plan the cut around the markings rather than expecting a clear field, and order everything for one project together – shade varies more between these hides than in our regular stock, and taupe shifts between grey and brown depending on the skin. For other neutrals see our Neutrals & Earth Tones lambskin, browse the full Lambskin range, or see our Lining Leather. For current stock or volume pricing, email Info@Avetcoinc.com or call 818-890-6680.
Disclaimer: These leathers are free of PCP, Azo Pigments, Chrome VI, Formaldehyde, and APEO.
