The cosplay-and-costume standard in our thicker 5 mm sheet, sized at a convenient 39″ × 51″. Medium-firm Grade A Rubber EVA that heat-forms cleanly by hand, holds crisp edges and detail, and sands smooth — the extra thickness gives bigger armor pieces and props more body and structure.

Why Choose Avetco E500 EVA

  • Grade A Rubber, 50–55° Shore C — firm enough to hold a clean edge, soft enough to heat-shape with a hot-air gun.
  • Closed-cell & water-resistant — won’t soak up water, paint, or contact cement.
  • Thicker 5 mm build — more rigidity and presence for large pieces; pairs with our 3 mm sheet for layering.
  • Black & red — the bold colors most-requested for finished costume builds.
  • Standard 39″ × 51″ sheet — easy to handle and store; step up to our jumbo 47″ × 87″ sheet when you need bigger panels.

Best Uses

  • Cosplay & costume armor — chest plates, pauldrons, helmets, bracers.
  • Props & weapon builds needing clean detail and a paintable surface.
  • Footwear & orthotic midlayers and padding.
  • 3D / puff embroidery backing for hats and caps — raised, structured lettering and logos.
  • Signage, shadow boxes, displays and general craft fabrication.
