This exquisite collection is burnished to create a rich, realistic crocodile-like texture. This hide entails alternating pattern of large and small rectangles created by the deep grooves imprinted on the exterior. This style is offered in two types of finishes on the surface of the hide: one option has a wax coat on the top, making it shiny, while the other option has soft matte finish, both giving a textured and thick finish. Each style possesses an aniline finish on the surface and offers a subtle two-tone look with a deeper color within the grooves of the pattern, to make the divots and design more defined. The Maurizzio collection has a vegetal tannage, making these leathers very sleek and unique.
