This design strongly resembles the beautiful, deeply underrated scales of a lizard. This is a result of an embossed full grain leather with a vegetal tannage, and aniline finish on the surface. This leather is very strong and durable yet it does not have a lot of bend-ability. This lack of flexibility in the leather makes a powerful product.
