New Mirlo is a smooth cow leather with a silky, close finish and a subtle texture across the surface. Tanners in Turkey chrome tan these full grain sides, so the face stays even and clean from panel to panel. At 2/3 oz the temper stays supple, which means the leather folds and turns without bulk yet still holds its shape. We stock it in five colors: Black, Gray, Java Brown, Pink and Tuscany.
Hide Size – Sold as a Half Side
New Mirlo cow sides run large, so we cut each side in half before it ships. That keeps the leather easy to handle on your cutting table and keeps the parcel out of oversize freight. Each piece averages 18-20 square feet.
Leather is a natural material, so the outline, edges and exact footage vary from piece to piece. Treat 18-20 sq. ft. as an average size rather than a cut-to-size measurement.
