Description
Marbella is a European cork fabric made from thin cork shavings bonded to a flexible backing. It is light, durable and water-resistant, and it cuts and sews like a leather without the weight, which makes it a practical vegan alternative for bags, wallets, footwear panels and covered goods.
The surface is coarse to look at but smooth to the hand, and because the shavings fall differently on every sheet, no two pieces carry the same pattern. Treat that as part of the material rather than a fault: cut your visible panels from one sheet where you want them to match, and expect natural variation in grain and tone across an order.
