Description
Install Like a Pro with the Die Setter for Parachute Nailhead NH72
Get clean, secure results every time with this custom die setter designed to fit the Parachute Nailhead NH72. Whether you’re working with leather, canvas, or vinyl, this tool helps you install nail heads evenly — with no bending, splitting, or crooked domes.
Why You Need It:
Parachute-style nailheads have a spiked back. Pressing them in by hand or with the wrong tool can cause misalignment or damage to your surface. This die setter applies firm, balanced pressure to drive the spike in straight while protecting the dome.
Make sure to pair it with the matching size of the Parachute Nailhead NH72 — available in 6.5mm or 9mm, depending on your tool.

✅ Die Setter Usage Instructions
This die setter is designed for use with a kick press.
-
Place the bottom insert (dome cup) into the base of the kick press.
This holds the dome of the Parachute Nailhead NH72 securely in place. -
Insert the Parachute Nailhead NH72 upside down into the bottom insert.
The dome sits in the cup, and the spikes point upward. -
Position your material over the exposed spikes.
Line up your mark where the nail head will go. -
Attach the top insert into the upper fitting of the kick press.
The top die will press the material down and bend the spikes into it. -
Press firmly and evenly.
The kick press drives the spikes through the material and folds them inward, locking the nail head in place.
PRO TIP: Make sure the dome sits flat in the bottom insert and the spikes are facing straight up. The top insert bends the spikes inward — no hammering or manual bending needed.
