Description

Y. Bolt is a waxed cow suede: a double butt split finished with hot wax, which lays the nap down and leaves a low sheen and a firm, slightly rigid hand. It reads as rustic rather than plush – closer to a worn work leather than to a dress suede – and the wax gives it a surface that resists marking better than an open nap. Pieces run 14-16 square feet at 3/4 oz. (1.2-1.4 mm) in Black, Seal Brown, Rustic Brown, Gray, Dutch Blue and Faded Denim.
