This is our Y. Bolt waxed cow suede sold by the square foot rather than by the whole piece – buy two feet or twenty, cut fresh from the hide. It is the same leather as our full Y. Bolt splits: a double butt split finished with hot wax, which lays the nap down and leaves a low rustic sheen and a firm hand. Stocked in Black, Seal Brown, Rustic Brown, Gray, Dutch Blue and Faded Denim at 3/4 oz. (1.2-1.4 mm).

Cow suede by the square foot is cut to order, so pieces come as a single panel wherever the footage allows rather than as several small offcuts. Tell us if the shape matters – a long narrow strap piece cuts differently from a square panel.
