Description
Kidassia goatskin fur plates are long-hair goat skins sewn together into a flat, rectangular plate measuring 48″ x 24″ (4 x 2 ft). The hair runs 4-5 inches with the silky, loosely waved strands Kidassia is known for, and the leather backing is a soft 1.6-2 mm chrome-tanned skin that cuts and sews without special equipment. Stocked in White, Bleached White, Black, Black with Snow, Gray with Black and Tri Color.

Ordering
Goatskin fur plates are sold by the plate. Cut from the back with a knife or blade rather than shears – scissors cut through the hair and leave a shaved line along the seam. Hair direction runs one way down the plate, so lay all the pieces of a project the same way round or the panels will read as different shades. Because the plates are made from natural skins, hair length, wave and shade vary between plates; order all of one color together when a project has to match.
