Description
Athena is a cow nubuck leather with a surface that reads as textured but feels like suede – the grain side is lightly buffed to raise a very short nap, so it looks substantial and handles soft. Because the nap is raised on the grain side rather than the flesh side, it keeps the strength of a full grain hide instead of being a split. Sides run 20-22 square feet at 2/3 oz. (1.0-1.1 mm) in Beige and Dark Earth.
