Description
Signature Pebble Lambskin leather is a soft, drum-tumbled garment lambskin with a naturally raised pebble grain. The hides are chrome tanned and milled until the grain lifts into the fine, pebble pattern the leather is named for, leaving a skin that is light, supple and has real drape. Each whole hide runs 6-8 square feet at 2/3 oz. (0.8-1.2 mm) and is stocked in Black, Medium Brown, Navy and Fudge.

Working with Signature Pebble Lambskin
At 2/3 oz. this lambskin cuts cleanly with a rotary cutter or sharp shears. Sew it with a 70/10 to 80/12 leather needle and a longer stitch (3-3.5 mm) so the needle holes do not perforate the skin. Hold pieces with clips instead of pins, because pin holes stay in the grain. The tumbled pebble surface hides light handling marks, which makes it forgiving for a first leather garment as well as for production work. Seams can be pressed with a cool, dry iron over a press cloth, or glued open with leather cement for a crisp finish.
Care
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and keep the leather away from direct heat and sunlight. A light leather conditioner once or twice a year keeps the hand soft. Store hides rolled rather than folded to avoid creases.
