Description
The EL Paso collection is a distressed cow leather that breaks from the flat, uniform look of a standard hide. The sides are milled until the grain lifts into a pronounced three-dimensional texture, then aniline dyed through, so the high points sit lighter than the valleys and the hide reads worn-in from the day it arrives. Sides run 20-22 square feet at 3/4 oz. (1.4-1.6 mm) in Black, Chocolate, T-Moro, Cognac, Off White and White.
Why Choose EL Paso Distressed Cow Leather
- Heavily milled 3-D grain with real depth – texture you can feel, not a printed effect
- Aniline dyed through, so scuffs and edges tone in instead of showing pale
- Natural two-tone pull-up character that deepens as the piece is used
- Medium temper with substantial 3/4 oz. weight that holds structure in bags and belts
- Large 20-22 sq. ft. sides, including hard-to-find off white and white
Best Uses for Distressed Cow Leather
- Handbags, totes, backpacks and luggage
- Belts, straps, holsters and sheaths
- Boot and shoe uppers, western goods and tack trim
- Wallets, journal covers and rugged small goods
- Vintage and heritage-look pieces where character is the point

Ordering
EL Paso distressed cow leather is sold by the side, and each one falls within the size range you choose. Milled hides vary in the depth of the grain and in shade from side to side – that variation is the look, not a fault, but order all of one color together when a project has to match. For related hides see our Distressed Leather, our Belting Leather, or browse all Cowhide. For swatches, current stock or volume pricing, email Info@Avetcoinc.com or call 818-890-6680.
