Tierra is a waxed pull up leather: a full-grain, milled cowhide double shoulder, 100% vegetable tanned and finished with a heavy wax that lightens wherever the leather is bent or stretched. Pull the surface over a fold and the colour lifts; let it settle and it comes back. That movement is what people buy a pull-up for, and it deepens with handling instead of wearing off. Shoulders run 7-10 square feet at 4 oz. (1.4-1.6 mm), in Black, Chestnut, Cognac, Java Brown and Bitter Chocolate.

The pull-up effect means handling marks show and then settle – a warm cloth or a little heat from the hand blends them back. Keep an iron and hot glue off the face, as wax moves under heat, and test any finish on an offcut first.
