Description
Rough cut cow leather lets you buy the Milano hide by the piece instead of the side. Each cut runs 2-3 square feet of full-grain, lightly pigmented 3 oz. leather – soft and flexible, easy to cut and stitch, and cut from the same hides as our full Milano sides. Stocked here in eleven colors: Black, Java Brown, Rustic Brown, Vintage Khaki, Pale Blush, Pink Blossom, Coral Haze, Dazzling Blue, Spectrum Blue, Hawaiian Ocean and more.
Why Choose Rough Cut Cow Leather
- Buy only what the project needs – no paying for a 20 sq. ft. side to make one bag
- Full-grain surface that wears hard and ages well, same leather as the full Milano hides
- Light pigment finish: even color, forgiving to cut, and far less marking than a full aniline
- 3 oz. weight that holds structure while still folding and stitching easily
- A practical way to sample a color before committing to a whole hide

Ordering
Rough cut cow leather is sold by the piece at 2-3 square feet. Pieces are cut from full hides, so the shape is irregular rather than a square panel – plan the pattern around the piece rather than expecting a set rectangle. Shade varies slightly between hides, so order all of one color together when parts have to match. For full sides of the same leather see our Cowhide range, other cut-to-size stock under Rough Cut By SF, or browse our Smooth Leathers. For current colors, stock or volume pricing, email Info@Avetcoinc.com or call 818-890-6680.
Disclaimer: These leathers are free of PCP, Azo Pigments, Chrome VI, Formaldehyde, and APEO.
