Short hair cavallino calfskin in black with brown – a natural two-tone coat clipped close, so the markings read as crisp blocks of colour in a dense velvet pile rather than blending into long hair. Black ground with brown markings, as they grew on the animal, so no two hides carry the same pattern. Hides run 5-10 square feet at 2/3 oz.
