Description
Monaco is our firmer veg tan belt strap blank – cut from top-grain double shoulders, 100% vegetable tanned, at 8/9 oz. (3.2-3.6 mm) and 1.5 inches wide. The firmer temper is the point: a Monaco strap holds its line, resists rolling at the buckle and keeps its shape through years of wear, which is what a work belt or a gun belt needs. If you want a strap that breaks in softer and conforms faster, see our Niza blanks instead. Lengths run 40-60 inches in Black, Brown and Cognac.

Firm veg tan belt straps are sold by the blank, cut to width and length – measure from the fold of the buckle to your usual hole, not the whole waist, and allow for the buckle end.
