Premium grain leather with a laser-cut diamond pattern for elegance and durability.

Description

Diamond lattice leather is a full-grain cow side laser cut in a repeating diamond pattern, so the design is cut clean through the hide rather than printed on it. Laser cutting seals the edges as it goes, which is why the lattice holds its shape instead of fraying the way a punched leather can. The surface carries a light wax finish that deepens the texture. Sides run 15-17 square feet at 3 oz. (1.3-1.4 mm) in Black, Charcoal Gray, Java Brown, Cinnamon and Navy Blue.

Why Choose Diamond Lattice Leather

  • Pattern cut clean through the hide, with sealed edges that will not fray
  • Full-grain base – the leather between the cuts is a proper hide, not a coated split
  • Dyed through, so the cut edges show color rather than a pale core
  • Wax finish that lifts the texture and gives a soft depth to the color
  • Large 15-17 sq. ft. sides, so a panel can be cut with the lattice running true

Best Uses for Diamond Lattice Leather

  • Handbags, clutches and overlay panels
  • Shoe uppers, sandals and footwear detail
  • Belts, straps and cuffs
  • Upholstery panels, screens and decor where light comes through the cut
  • Garment yokes, collars and inserts

Ordering

Diamond lattice leather is sold by the side, and each one falls within the size range you choose. The lattice has a direction and a repeat, so plan matching panels to carry it the same way round. Back the leather where it has to take strain – a cut surface has less tensile strength than a solid one – and keep stitch lines out of the open areas.
