Description
Yellow lambskin leather in a soft nappa finish – a warm, saturated yellow, drum dyed through so a cut edge shows the same color as the face. This is our economy grade: the leather is good, but expect more natural markings, healed scratches and shade variation from hide to hide than in our regular lines, and the price reflects that. Hides run 5-10 square feet at 2 oz. (0.7-0.9 mm).
Why Choose Yellow Lambskin Leather
- Soft nappa hand with the fine grain and drape lambskin is bought for
- Drum dyed through, so trimmed edges and skived areas stay the same shade
- Light 2 oz. substance that skives thin and sews on a domestic machine
- A strong, clear yellow – a color that is hard to find in real leather
- Economy pricing, useful for accents, linings, craft work and prototypes
Best Uses for Yellow Lambskin Leather
- Bag linings, gussets and contrast panels
- Garment trim, collars, cuffs and inserts
- Craft work, bookbinding and small goods
- Costume, stage and display pieces needing a bold color
- Samples, prototypes and pattern testing

Ordering
Yellow lambskin leather is sold by the hide, with the price set by the size band you choose. Because this is an economy grade, plan the cut around the markings rather than expecting a clear field, and order everything for one project together – shade varies more between these hides than in our regular stock. Strong colors also show handling marks, so work with clean hands. For the other colors in the same economy line see the Bone and Lavender hides, or browse our full Lambskin range and Garment Leather. Quantities are limited. For current stock, email Info@Avetcoinc.com or call 818-890-6680.
Disclaimer: These leathers are free of PCP, Azo Pigments, Chrome VI, Formaldehyde, and APEO.
