Description
Pig nubuck leather in our larger 8-10 square foot hides – the same grain-buffed pigskin as our 5-6 foot skins, but big enough to cut a full bag panel or a garment piece without joining. Buffing the grain side rather than splitting keeps the strength of the whole skin and gives a short, velvety nap. At 3 oz. (1.0-1.2 mm) it stays light while taking a stitch line without tearing. Six colours: Blue Print, Fuchsia Purple, Leather Brown, Pine Cone, Steel Gray and Tango Red.

Pig nubuck leather is sold by the hide, and each one falls within the size range shown. Nubuck shows nap direction and takes marks from handling, so work with clean hands and lay all the panels of one project the same way round. Water spots a nubuck surface, so test any protector on an offcut first.
