Description
Snake print lambskin leather puts an exotic snakeskin pattern on a soft garment lambskin. The pattern is an Italian transfer film heat pressed onto the skin, not a surface print, so the detail is crisp and the film bonds into the grain rather than sitting on top of it. It runs in warm browns with the scale rows shading from light to dark across the hide. The base skin is light and supple with a little natural stretch, so it moves with a garment instead of standing away from it – and unlike a real snake skin it comes in a full hide with no small plates to piece together. Hides run 7-8 square feet at 2/3 oz. (0.8-1.2 mm).

The print has a direction and shades from light to dark across the skin, so lay matching panels the same way round and cut them from the same area where the pattern has to line up.
