Description
These veg tanned single shoulders are natural, undyed cowhide at 5/6 oz. (2.0-2.4 mm), drum tanned with vegetable tannins and left ready to tool, stamp, carve, dye and burnish. The shoulder is the firm, tight-grained part of the hide just behind the neck, which is why it holds a stamp impression cleanly and does not stretch out of shape. Pieces run 4-8 square feet.
